No, I haven't finished my homework and I know I'm going to fail my second year. It's not due to the recent death of my aunt (partly it was at first) but maybe I'm getting bored of media... As much as enjoy it, my mum still says it's a 'Mickey Mouse course' or a 'crappy course' - supportive eh? Also I was thinking my Paid Account renewal thing. It's all sorted now. So yeah.

Meme time!

Reply to this post by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your LJ and explain what they mean to you.

[info]notquitedead gave me five words. And like [info]clearbell, I was given 'BriWi' and 'Pink Floyd' second time round! I am not lazy by copying and pasting the reasons, instead it's all been changed due to recent purposes.

1. Brian Williams - So I have the customised mood theme which took months to make, the birthday present layout which was made by the wonderful [info]virulencia, and have a fangirl thing about him which makes me laugh sometimes and smile. His humour, talent and skill makes Brian William what he is... A very good anchorman, blogger and honest gentleman.

2. Pink Floyd - Expect no imitations. Pink Floyd are my favourite rock band. I cannot say ever because I currently in love with Queen and Led Zeppelin, but Pink Floyd were unique in their own way and their albums are like a story that flow perfectly. Although I haven't been listening to them endlessly these days I will always like their albums Animals and Wish You Were Here. They are both albums with clear concepts - a storyline and a point to make across. I will highly recommend a new Pink Floyd fan to listen to Dark Side of The Moon because that was their first album I bought which was early this year.

3. Journalism - I haven't always been good academically at school especially with maths, English and science. As the years gone by I have improved with my use of language and punctuation. Guilty as charged, my use of grammar isn't always perfect and never will be. I enjoy writing scripts, plays and stories. Journalistic writing is something that interests me. My highest point of this year was doing a magazine article for my fictional magazine. Doing a column page was something that made me proud because I'm very good with keeping up with the news and for me journalism is the right path for me to go in the future. However, I'm shy and introverted and journalists have to meet deadlines and go out to events. I'm usually not comfortable at those but I could work on breaking out of my shyness shell.

4. Homework - it's sucks, it's a time waster, there's no point of it, tbh. That comment wasn't influenced by my dad but children do work at school, home is a place for relaxation.

5. Well-rounded - Ok... Not exactly the prettiest thing to look at. Some nasty people may accuse me of being anorexic and skinny... I'm not in any way a sex symbol. That's all

I'm already behind with one piece of homework and I do not want to get an extension on it because it wouldn't happen or something. Anyway, pretty much my Halloween for celebrated around Miss B's house (more on that on another post), and doing my homework since yesterday evening...

Techinally I haven't been to bed since yesterday morning at 3am. What is wrong with me?

Plus, I'm hungry.

WikiHow, the Wikipedia of advise, is the best thing ever on the internets. I highly recommend it to you and anyone and everyone. I initially wanted to search on tips on photography until I saw this on 'Writing Nests' on the Featured Articles section.

I find it hard to write these days, but I'm good at ideas for my story or anything in general. Right now, I have a character related to the alleged killer, who has a mentally ill daughter. The problem is that this character isn't the main character, just an additional one but I do not want to confuse my readers. Not the story turning into a complicated soap opera, and I'm looking at you Eastenders and Hollyoaks.

Writing space can be a problem, or any type of space to be spectific. At college, quiet rooms are unlikely except for the library and the computer room in The Village whereas in the main building, the so-called quiet room next to the canteen can be very noisy depending on what day and time it is.

The thing is that I would like peace and quiet, but sometimes if I'm in a extremely quiet place I want to leave straight away. Fortunately in the library in Leytonstone is very quiet and I did manage to stay for a long time, maybe because people aren't moving around loudly. On the other hand, I love music and my iPod is literally my baby -- people just don't want to hear music blasting through the headphones and music helps me focus on my work but I do have a habit of changing songs frequently. Before you ask, I made several playlists but stuck on 'recently played' and 'recently added'. I love observing and I'm quite observant according to a few people. I haven't really sat down for ages to write some bits in McDonalds because I think people would like to sit down and eat their food, so I leave immediately.

Home maybe good. Mum is always telling me something, or nagging me. Dad is often out, however this week he's painting.

I'll think of something.

1. I'm so busy with college work this week; I have a presentation to do on Friday on my chosen photographer; I have to hand in my work to Zaf also on Friday, although I'm far from finishing so I might focus on that tomorrow during lunch break. I know, I don't want to slack but somehow I don't want to fall behind. And I realised that there's no script for the documentary on the illu... Forget it. Hopefully the group leader may have got that sorter? No?

2. I'm listening to Led Zeppelin all day and everyday at this rate. Mothership is a good album and a nice beginner's guide for anyone who is new to Zep. I much rather buy every single album of the band's, like I would like to do with Queen but I'm not sure... Is it worth it?

3. Next week is half term. That's good. I would like to go places around London and some photographs!

I bought two photo books today; a Pink Floyd book which has the best photos of the band during the career, concert posters, tickets, newspaper clippings and tour programmes. And a Led Zeppelin rare photo book with the band in America and just chilling out really...

I have been thinking about a lot of things lately or recently. I was thinking of reading a hundred books in one year. It may sound possible but I think I won't be able to juggle college and reading at the same time, especially if that damn coursework is going to take over my life for another year.

I might start reading the King Of Torts again soon. Love John Grisham. And I may read Twilight... I'm no fan of the films or books, I just want to avoid turning into a Robert Pattinson fangirl overnight. BriWi is fine with me lol.

1. Since my parents disapprove me of buying UGGs because they are expensive (and would trying to persuade them they can keep me warm and I'm willing to pay for them myself), they may approve of me buying these boots! I love them! Only problem is that the biggest size is 8 and I'm a size 9. Would it be a good idea for me to squeeze into them? My Nikes are size 8 and I had them for six years. They still fit me.

2. So I'm doing a documentary at college with a group on illuminati, Satanic messages in songs, backmasked songs and 2Pac being alive. Not my ideas but they are the group leader's. I did question him on proving if 2Pac's really alive and asked him to watch/listen to 'Stairway To Heaven' being played backwards on YouTube.

3. My mum labels me 'boring' if I'm not hip or trendy like 'everybody else' or not like Uncle Pedge's daughters. However yesterday was different it was on my musical tastes. This all started from watching Come Dine With Me with a contestant who's a veggie and plays the ukulele and my mum saying: 'Boring! Boring!'

This song was written by Freddie Mercury which was dedicated to his girlfriend Mary Austin of six years or so. When they broke up, they remained friends until Freddie died. He said: "All my lovers asked me why they couldn't replace Mary, but it's simply impossible. The only friend I've got is Mary and I don't want anybody else. To me, she was my common-law wife. To me, it was a marriage. We believe in each other, that's enough for me."

You can still look at pictures of them and think how cute!

I don't normally go on Facebook, but a few minutes ago I received a message alert with someone asking that if I was 'Jannine Smith from Reading U 1998'. 'U' must be university then. The problem is in 1998 I was 7 and I was still in primary school. Anyway I resolved the issue by replying back stating that I'm not the 'Jannine Smith' the person was looking for.

Well, this entry brings back some useful memories then...

Reply to this post by yelling "Words!" and I will give you five words that remind me of you. Then post them in your LJ and explain what they mean to you.

The words that [info]clearbell gave me;

1. BriWi - The most articulate man I have seen on television. He's a funny spirit with a good big heart, and handsome too. I haven't done any BriWi posts frequently as I use to, but I still love him for his talents.

2. Pink Floyd - At first I only knew their iconic 'Another Brick In The Wall, Part 2' song but I know plenty of good songs by Floyd now. They are creative and original in their own right. I enjoy their concept albums and Roger Waters lyric writing. Unlike music of today, Pink Floyd weren't afraid of experimenting with different types of instruments and using sound effects. I have to listen to them at least everyday.

3. England - There are many places that I haven't visited in my own country yet. I love my country because there are many places which seem so fascinating to me such as the beautiful countryside, Cambridge and Sussex.

4. Fashion - I love fashion. I don't like following the latest trends though. I'm more of my own person and follow my own trends, or be influenced by fashion of the 70s with a twist of my own. I don't buy as many clothes as of now and I don't like to feel pressured into wearing something that I won't like. I love designer clothes but I won't splash out cash on a bag which costs a stupidous amount of money.

5. College - What can I say? It's better than secondary school. Everyone is nice there compared to my old school. The lunch breaks are fairly good as I have two hour to two and a half hour breaks every week. The environment in the college is calm. I love it! No-one hassles you or bully you. Plus they are strict with attendance and homework. I admit to saying that being strict is better than being too laidback.
